In addition to his tourism and land use consulting practice, David is involved in selected land development projects
through a separate corporate entity, Leisurescape LLC.

David works with a variety of entities on packaging development projects/properties. His development activity has
typically focused on the packaging, financing and permitting stages of developments with tourism and hospitality
content. He has worked on tourism related development projects in Guatemala, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Arizona
and British Columbia. In Arizona he worked with other partners on packaging and permitting for a major destination
resort project comprising a branded resort hotel/spa/golf resort.
He has assisted in the development of a new,
global destination community brand, project
assessment for a wellness community, and
creation of an investment fund for destination
community projects.

He is also managing Leisurescape's joint
venture arrangement on a significant
sports/education community project, Sage Hills,
located on Vancouver Island, Canada. With a
private, branded sports academy, private
university and K to 12 school, village centre
with hotel/spa and wellness facilities, the Sage
Hills project at build-out will include over 3,000
housing units. It is now in the early master
planning stage.
